Copper Flat Mine

The Copper Flat project is a proposed copper mine located near Hillsboro, New Mexico, with a history of mineral exploration dating back more than a century. The deposit contains copper along with associated minerals such as gold and molybdenum. The project has been advanced by New Mexico Copper Corporation, which has worked to restart copper production at the historic Copper Flat mining district.
